Rino & Swing Orchestra

Our orchestra was born in Calabria from an idea of it’s founder Rino Napoli, singer and performer from Palmi, and the artistic and moral support of his colleague and friend Rosario Di Leo, pianist and composer from Sicily.

The driving force that pushed us into this hard challenge is the will to give life to a tribute band of the greatest american orchestras (Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, and also Michael Bublé and Mario Biondi) with the intent of promoting and revaluing the beauty and the energy of this music.

This objective was achieved with the arrival of the remaining components of the orchestra: Pino Delfino, a really respected bass player from Reggio Calabria, Mr. Giaky Tantillo, a young sicilian trumpet player, Claudio Giambruno with his saxophone of Coltranian inspiration, and Giampaolo Terranova’s unceasing drums.

In 2009 the orchestra undergoes a radical revolution because many of it’s components have changed, but always keeping it’s original sound and the repertoire has been improved with new songs, danceable and not.

Dear future brides and grooms, we think that on the wedding day good music makes the difference and the main reason is that  the musicians are those who can feel your true emotions. In the last few years we understood that, in order to make your wedding unique, we need to know who you really are and above all which are your dreams and desires.
