Radicepura Horticultural Park

As the name suggests, this enchanting and multifunctional park is rooted in the landscape of Sicily, the land between Etna and the Ionian Sea. It grows out of the deepest traditions reaching the heart of nature. Radicepura is a park born out of the dreams of one man, Venerando Faro, who has found an outlet for all of his experience in the field of international nursery gardening. Which is embodied in 5 hectares, 3000 plants species, the seed factory and hospitality areas for conferences or private events.

The facilities of the park

 Each reception area offers a different feeling, and each has been designed to meet the various needs for organizing events and conferences. From the 18th century Palazzo Nobiliare to the modern creation, Serra dei Congressi.

The palazzo

This is a testament to the skills of the Sicilian craftsmen who built The Palazzo, a country house with all the comforts of its time. To emphasize, there are the painted ceilings in the reception rooms and the white stone mantelpieces sculpted by hand. The Scuderie del Barone boasts a fine column carved in lava stone. The Baron’s Stables with the lava stone colonnade. The main floor, representing the charm of the aristocratic salons of the time, is composed of 5 rooms where it is possible to host up to 70 people.

Palmento del padrino

The Palmento del Padrino is a living example of an industrial archeology. The example, where in 1974 were filmed some memorable scenes from the legendary Godfather. In this structure where once people were pressing the grapes, today it is possible to organize events for up to 200 participants.

The serra dei congressi

 The Serra dei Congressi is an ultra-modern, glass building which recreates the atmosphere of a glasshouse. Inside there are rare plants species, framing an innovative environment designed especially to host congresses, company or private events, fashion shows and more. It is a large space with 850 seats, blending with the green beauty of a tropical forest, with palms and dates. The Serra dei Congressi is able to accommodate up to 1500 people.

Anamorphosis

The artistic installation of the Anamorphose, designed and built by Francois Albelanet is a monumental garden with a strong link to the spatial representations of the oriental world. Built in elevation, it dominates the events area below.
