Introduction

They date back to 1500 d.c. the first documents that talk about Masseria Vittoria and tell of a place where people lived on what the land offered, a safe shelter for the many travelers who passed by. After more than 500 years, restored in 2013 with love and in full respect of the original shapes and materials, today Masseria Vittoria is a home that has kept intact the ability to accommodate its customers, offering an oasis of peace to rediscover serenity and well-being even just to look around.

Location

A few steps from a crystalline sea, and only 200 meters from the Acaya Golf Club, Masseria Vittoria rises in the lands of Acaya, a delightful medieval town enclosed around the walls of its castle where small but charming little churches peek out, and is adjacent to the park natural site of the WWF “Le Cesine” a protected area where you can make pleasant walks in the saddle of a bike or on foot, along endless green expanses that gradually leave space to pristine sandy beaches where you can relax and enjoy long swims far from the confusion of the city.

In just 8 minutes by car, along a road made of dry stone walls, pajare and a flourishing Mediterranean vegetation, you reach our beautiful Lecce, the baroque city, with its wonderful churches, cathedrals and countless shops for shopping.

The farm

As soon as the gate begins to open, you can immediately admire the harmonious intertwining of historic stones and beautiful vegetation that surrounds the private car park and the entire structure.

Going through the characteristic colonnade, symbol of our farm, embellished with bougainvillea and inebriated by the scent of lavender, you can see the enchanting salt water pool with a whirlpool area, located almost at the foot of a “pajara”, which is imposed with the purity of its stones and its architectural structure, among the green of nature.

In the pool area you can spend relaxing moments sipping a drink or reading a book protected by the shade of ancient olive trees that are reflected in the water.

At the end of the colonnade, step by step, you will be enveloped by the charm of the historical value of Masseria Vittoria, kept in the walls, vaulted ceilings and materials of the central core where the restaurant “La Locanda di Loris & Mirella”, the hall common and a large outdoor pergola under which every morning a delicious breakfast awaits you with cakes, pastries, pancakes, jams, yogurt, biscuits, pies all homemade with love and natural ingredients. A truly magical moment that of breakfast, a true ritual, around imperial tables, savoring genuine products typical of the Salento tradition, with the background of the chirping of birds and the smell of coffee  , pampered by the hospitality of the owner Loris and his wife Mirella and all the staff who will make you feel part of a large family.

An enchanted place to live from morning to night, thanks to the presence of the restaurant “La Locanda di Loris & Mirella” open only for the customers of the farm for lunch and dinner, an extraordinary gastronomy made of genuine flavors that refer to the true rural tradition using vegetables harvested in our own garden, fresh fish caught every morning by our trusted fisherman, homemade pasta (orecchiette salentine) from grandmother Rosy, legumes and typical dishes of the Apulian tradition enhanced by the flavor of various types of wines, local and international , kept in our cellar.

Whether it’s a candlelit dinner, an evening to be shared around the social table, or an outdoor grill, every moment will be unforgettable.

In the old courtyard that flanks the central core, a small spa called Relax a “corte” has been created, with a whirlpool and sauna and a massage area with an exposed roof to live the luxury of spending moments of wellbeing under the starry sky being pampered from the expert hands of our masseurs choosing between regenerating treatments, hot stone with the use of oils derived from Mediterranean herbs cultivated directly in the farm.

Rooms, suites & Guest house

Masseria Vittoria offers an intimate and private environment, with services tailored to each client. 8,000 square meters of park master 8 independent double rooms and a guest house for 4 people both solutions equipped with everything you need for a holiday to live in peace: minibar with courtesy water, TV, air conditioning, phone, kettle with herbal teas , private outdoor courtyard or private garden, porch equipped with sofa and table.

The double rooms are of two types: the suites have a living room furnished with a sofa and a TV, a double bedroom and a large bathroom with a shower and the comfort rooms consist of a double bedroom, an armchair and a large bathroom with a shower.

The guest house, called Casa Vittoria, is the most exclusive solution for a holiday for both couples and families. Set in the old barn and converted into a 65sqm loft on the ground floor (with a large living room, induction double plate kitchenette, sink, mini bar, table, double sofa bed, LED TV and SKY TV, independent bedroom and bathroom with shower) and 25 sqm on the mezzanine floor with a double bedroom overlooking the living room, bathroom and large shower.

All interiors have been meticulously furnished by Loris with details that evoke the symbols of our land and our traditions, objects of the past and furniture in the color of water, enhancing the beauty of the barrel vaults, the stones embedded in art in the walls , fireplaces, and hidden niches.
