Marta & Claudio, a lovely wedding in the countryside of the Le Marche region.

Weddings in Italy. Marta and Claudio met in summer of 2008, both with respective partners. They happened to see eachother frequently due outings with mutual friends. Her first impression was that he was too confident, at times arrogant which caused her to look at him funny. He thought she was a typical snob and would often make fun of her. They would usually try to ignore eachother so that they wouldn’t argue and ruin the night for themselves and their friends. One night, a few years later, after a wedding, an argument erupted where he teased her and she answered back appropriately. Shortly after, she feels bad and decides to invite Claudio to meet for coffee to clear the air. The meet-up, leads to the two becoming friends. He discovers how funny, bright and full of life she is. She finds him intelligent, interesting and mysterious. They become inseparable and start sharing experiences, thoughts, emotions, dreams and travels. That special friendship, all of a sudden, becomes something more, which initially scares them. This causes them to temporarily lose touch of eachother even though they can’t forget one another although they have separate lives. They stay apart but stay in touch. 2 years go by, and they finally meet again.

It’s their wedding day. It’s the end of August, near Jesi in Le Marche region. A beautiful setting. The Marchisian summer is romantic and the air is filled by the smell of the flowers of love.

Their chosen location is a house owned by his ancestors. In love with the setting and surrounding hillside, it had become for the past years a romantic getaway for the couple, a place where they shared fond memories and plans. There was no better place for them to tie the knot and declare their eternal love for one another.

Martas’ hippie dress is sublime, wearing a floral crown nested on top of her immense blonde curls. A beautiful forest nymph, ready for her big day. Claudio goes for a non-conventional look, as he is: jeans, green all stars and a blue checkered shirt with rolled up sleeves.

Their beauty, along with the breathtaking sight of the surrounding nature make the ceremony and moment all the more magical for all. The innovative imperial table is embellished by the family silverware, but the the rustic floral arrangements of their choice are in complete harmony with the huge surrounding countryside, the garden, the fruit trees, vegetable garden and greenhouse around them, creating a wonderful display of rustic elegance that distinguishes the ambiance.

The attention to details is meticulous and the typically local food integrates with the perfect setting.
The evening dances, under the moonlight, started off with a surprise jam session organized by their trusted lifelong friends!
