Day 1 – Tuscany Tour
#1 destination – Pisa
We start our journey from Pisa, an acclaimed city in the world. There’s no better way of visiting the historic city than getting lost in its central streets embracing century-long charm in every corner.
The major tourist attraction, being at that the most renowned one, is the Piazza dei Miracoli (the Square of Miracles) showcased by the widely acclaimed leaning tower that will enable you to take one of those “famous pose” pictures, the Duomo, the Baptistery and the captivating meadows around that you can enjoy while tasting an excellent ice cream.
You can climb the tower via the typical pending staiways granting you an unique and impressive experience. As for your stay in Pisa, I would suggest visiting all the remaining structures in order to wander through those streets afterwards and stop by one of the characteristic restaurants for savoring all the delicacies of the local cuisine.
Day 2 – Tuscany Tour
#2 destination – Lucca
Your Tuscany tour has definitely to include Lucca – a historic town of rare beauty. Lucca is particularly known for its churches occupying each part of the historic center.
No less important and impressive are the city walls with passable pathways still today, a truly charming site. Representing a small town, you can calmly dedicate half day to this trip, that may well be concluded with an excellent dinner.
#3 Destination – Florence
Once the dinner is completed, you can continue your voyage and admire the main destination of our Tuscany tour – Florence, after an hour drive. Start your Florentine experience from Piazzale Michelangelo overlooking the city and offering the most bewitching panoramas throughout Italy.
To end the second day take a stroll through the historic center thus familiarizing yourself with the major sites: the imposing Duomo Square, the Piazza della Signoria, the stunning Ponte Vecchio (the Old Bridge), the Pitti Palace and Santa Croce.
Day 3 -Tuscany tour
We dedicate the 3rd day of our Tuscany tour to Florence again. One of the most enchanting landmarks is displayed by the Brunelleschi dome. 463 steps await you in order to appreciate the beauty of the latter, however, the game’s worth the candle.
The second target worth taking your time and energy is represented by Giotto’s bell-tower with its 414 steps. The Uffizi Gallery and other museums of the city attracting thousands of art-lovers, are numbered among the must-visit sites when in Florence.
In the evening, the city offers another aspect of itself enriching the beautiful scenery with the colors of the setting sun. Many are the places over there where you can savor local culinary specialties and an excellent wine.
Day 4 – Tuscany tour
#4 destination – San Gimignano
Our Tuscany tour continues and we head to the city that was worthily called the ‘Manhattan of the Middle Ages’. The road between Florence and San Gimignano will amaze you with spectacular views crossing the captivating Tuscan valleys.
San Gimignano is a small town ranked among those to be explored with its famous thermal waters.
#5 destination – Volterra
Enrich your travels in the afternoon with Volterra – a small village of the Etruscan origins. A half day tour is more than sufficient to cherish this charming place.
While rambling through the ancient streets you will be able to delve into local treasures and taste the regional delicacies. After completing this sightseeng tour you are advised to pay a visit to Siena without driving the main road but indulging instead in the magnificent views over the Tuscan valleys.
Day 5 – Tuscany tour
#6 destination – Siena
The 5th day preserves for you one of the most characteristic and unique places in Tuscany – Siena, well acclaimed for its horse race a. k. a. Palio. For appreciating the city in the best possible way you are recommended to take a walk and soon after climb the top of the 400-storey Torre di Mangia, overlooking the entire city.
Rambling through the narrow streets and encountering less touristic but equally charming places is another preferred solution within this journey. The main sites here are represented by the Duomo (one of the most beautiful structures in Tuscany and perhaps, throughout the country) , the Baptistery, the Facciatone, the Crypt and the Porta del Cielo (the Heaven’s Door) allowing tourists to admire the elevated part of the Cathedral both inside and outside.
And finally you will find yourself in Piazza del Campo, hosting Palio twice a year. No words can express the charm of this square.

Day 6 – Tuscany tour
#7 destination – Monteriggioni
The last day of the tour will be dedicated to this small village where time seems to stop.
#8 destination – Arezzo
The tidbit of our Tuscany tour: Arezzo. Make your way to the city through the beautiful Chianti hills. This is the place to bid farewell to Tuscany with its magnificent views that will warm your heart with cherished memories.
