Some tasty recipes for a special Valentine’s Day menu…

Valentine’s Day MenuValentine’s Day Menu

Strawberry shrimp

Ingredients: 5 shrimps, 5 large strawberries, 50 gr. of cream, half a glass of cognac, 1 tablespoon of butter, shallot.

Preparation: In a pan, melt the shallot in butter. Add peeled shrimp and sliced strawberries. Cook for 5 minutes, turning the shrimp. Then add the cognac lighting it, then add the cream. Let it dry a few minutes and serve garnished with fresh strawberries, salt and white pepper.

San Pietro fish fillet with oranges

Ingredients:1 fish fillet San Pietro, 1 tablespoon of flour, juice of 1 orange, 10 capers, 5 olives, orange zest, chives, 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of butter, cognac, salt, pepper and white wine.

Preparation: In a pan, cook in butter the fillet dipped in flour, add the pitted and chopped olives, the lightly chopped capers and the sliced tomatoes. Cook with white wine and orange juice for about 10 minutes, then add the cognac.

Serve the dish with orange zest and chives.

Pork tenderloin with blueberries and cream cheese

Ingredients: 3 pork medallions, 20 grams of blueberries, 20 grams of  sweet provolone cheese, 50 grams of cream, butter, flour, rum, coriander leaves, salt and white pepper.

Preparation: Flour the medallions and cook them in butter adding blueberries crushed with a fork, put a drop of rum, a tablespoon of cream, salt and pepper. The remaining cream should be boiled in a pan with the provolone cheese.

Serve the medallions garnished with fresh blueberries and coriander leaves and serve the cream cheese separately. Serve with white or rosè wine.
