Wedding venues in Tuscany
This is not only one of our favourite wedding venues in Tuscany, but in all of Italy (and it also features in the official I DO IN ITALY Guide): welcome to Vincigliata Castle. Just a few miles from Florence, in the beautiful hilly region that surrounds the city, stands a medieval castle of incomparable historic charm, which is also a versatile venue with several spaces, fit to welcome extremely large parties. In the fair season, take advantage of the ample grounds, with a spectacular view of Florence, and the lovely courtyard, but if the weather does not allow an outdoor reception, you can take refuge in the winter garden. You will have over 43000 square feet in which to celebrate your romance in style, offering your guests a memorable reception.
If you want your wedding venue to be sophisticated, elegant and stylish, you should consider Villa Magi. This beautiful art-nouveau mansion near Arezzo is surrounded by vast grounds and offers a variety of usable spaces for wedding receptions. There’s a winter garden and an elegant glass-panelled hall, overlooking the surrounding lawns – ideal for the cold season. The whole estates covers almost nine acres and each detail has been refined to perfection. Your wedding reception in this venue will be charming, glamorous and utterly unique.
REALIS BORGO SAN PIETRO
Relais Borgo San Pietro is an exclusive venue in the charming Tuscan countryside and no self-respecting list of wedding venues in Tuscany could do without it. It is located near the lovely Etruscan city of Cortona. The venue as you see it today is the result of the outstanding restoration work done on what was originally a XVII century farm. Enjoy the serene and relaxed atmosphere and the building’s historic charm, the richly furnished interiors and the lush garden, ideal for both an intimate reception or a grandiose party.
Let’s now travel to Siena, to visit a spectacular wedding venue that would not be out of place in a fairy tale. The Meleto Castle, with its magical atmosphere, will transport you and your guests back in time, to an age of opulence and grandeur. Where will you host your reception? In the great halls with their stunning frescoes? In the magnificent garden, ideal for a summer-day outing? Will you dance the night away in the stables? Or will you contemplate the gentle silhouette of the Chianti hills from the panoramic terrace, after holding a symbolic rite in the private chapel?
Out list of wedding venues in Tuscany would not be complete without a trip to the seaside. Let’s therefore travel to Livorno and discover Villa Parisi. This glamorous venue is located on a charming promontory in Castiglioncello and it offers a spectacular view of the bay. Villa Parisi offers direct access to the beach through a private pathway through its grounds. You can welcome your guests with a poolside drink, then move your reception to a grand hall with glass-panelled walls overlooking the island of Elba, and finally cut your wedding cake on a platform on the sea.
